PeliFilip and Linklaters, assisting Vinci-Aktor in signing the first major local infrastructure project

PeliFilip assisted the European consortium Vinci-Aktor - the successful bidder in the tender procedure for the construction and operation of the Comarnic-Brasov highway, on signing the first major infrastructure project in Romania carried out under concession. Worth more than EUR 1.7 billion, this is the most important infrastructure project in the last years.

The transaction entailed legal assistance in a complex public procurement procedure using the method of competitive dialogue, as well as an extensive analysis on the whole range of legal matters regarding the development, construction and operation of a highway in Romania. Throughout a whole year, PeliFilip and Linklaters provided legal assistance on various project matters, including offer preparation and consortium participation in the competitive dialogue procedure, as well as in relation to the completion of the agreement.
