Stratulat Albulescu announces new round of promotions

Stratulat Albulescu is pleased to announce two new internal promotions, effective January 1, 2020. Thus, Andrei Balus and Tudor Ciambur have been promoted to Managing Associate positions. This decision reflects the significant contribution of the two lawyers in numerous transactions, as well as their involvement in other aspects in the firm’s life.

Andrei Balus – Managing Associate (Banking and Finance) has been with the firm since 2014. Due to his analytical skills, Andrei is highly appreciated by clients for always finding the best legal solutions. Throughout the time Andrei has provided legal assistance to clients in all phases of financial transactions, drafting due diligence reports on financial matters and legal opinions on regulatory compliance requirements. His professional skills helped him understand the clients’ needs and transform information into something manageable and useful. During his 9+ years of experience, Andrei has participated in several transactions involving loan and security packages such as syndicated loans, corporate and real estate finance, loan restructuring mandates, and by reviewing the credit documentation on the consumer protection legislation.

Tudor Ciambur – Managing Associate (Real Estate) joined the firm in 2019. With over 7 years’ experience with one of the top law firms in Romania, Tudor easily integrated and took over the successful coordination of complex real estate projects. He assists clients in connection with a wide range of real estate matters, including real estate acquisition and development, the structuring of transactions, lease agreements, due diligence exercises, business takeovers, joint ventures and exit strategies. He has extensive experience in drafting, structuring and negotiating legal agreements. His expertise also includes urbanism and permit issues for complex mixed-use projects, as well as in-depth knowledge of office, residential, retail and logistics businesses. Tudor is outstanding at quickly assessing the relevant facts and issues, identifying and mitigating any risks, identifying practical options, opportunities and creative legal solutions that add value to the clients business.
