Reff & Associates | Deloitte Legal co-opts in the team of partners Alex Slujitoru, a lawyer with over 15 years of experience, to lead the tax litigation practice.The management team of the law firm thus increases to nine partners.

Recommended by the independent international rankings Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners as one of the key lawyers in tax disputes, Alex Slujitoru has been involved in complex high-profile projects, from the leadership positions he held in specialized practices within important law firms. He has assisted companies from various industries, such as energy, retail, oil and gas, heavy industry, cereal trading, and represented them in front of the Romanian authorities and courts, as well as European institutions, in tax disputes in relation to VAT refunds, excises, interest requests for refunds or delayed reimbursements, annulment of acts of modification or non-modification of the taxation base, annulment of unlawful compensation or suspension of taxation decisions. Alex is also an active tax policy contributor.
