Wolf Theiss strengthens its Bucharest Office Team with new Hires

The Romania office of CEE law firm Wolf Theiss extends its team of lawyers. Thus, Wolf Theiss Bucharest announces and welcome Adina Aurel in the Projects team, Andrei Alecu in the Competition & Antitrust team, Cornelia Postelnicu, Iulia Cumpăratu and Ramona Enache in the Corporate M&A team, Cătălin Sabău in the Banking & Finance team and Antonia Coman in the Disputes team.

Adina Aurel joined Wolf Theiss as Senior Associate within the Projects team. She has over 15 years of experience in the legal field, being involved in one of the most important M&A transactions as well as in energy and real estate projects. She has also extensive experience in the renewable energy industry in Romania due to her position as Legal Director of a Romanian renewable energy association prior to joining Wolf Theiss. Her diverse legal background allows her to assist the client through all stages of a transaction: from the development of projects, day to day advice for operational companies, and preparing the business for sale or performing due diligence to negotiating the purchase agreement, coordinating the closing and integrating the operations of the resulting business. Adina holds a Bachelor of Law and International Relations from the “Nicolae Titulescu” University of Bucharest and is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 2003.

Andrei Alecu joined Wolf Theiss as Associate in the Competition & Antitrust team. Prior joining Wolf Theiss, Andrei was part of a top Romanian law firm and his experience coveres legal assistance in several high-profile merger control cases, antitrust investigations as well as in connection with the full spectre of issues related to a dominant position on certain markets, in industries such as pharma & life sciences, retail, energy, chemical, media or IT&C. Andrei has graduated from the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Law and has both a LL.M. in Law and Economics and a M.A in Business, Law and Economics from Universität Hamburg and Université d'Aix-Marseille III Paul-Cézanne. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Competition law from the University of Bucharest and is admitted to the Bucharest bar.

Cornelia Postelnicu joined Wolf Theiss as Associate in the Corporate M&A team. She specializes in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and commercial law and has advised clients in several industries with due diligence reports and transactional documents on asset sale/share deals, as well on regulatory aspects. Prior to joining Wolf Theiss she has collaborated with one of the top international law firms present in Romania, where she also advised clients on corporate, commercial and data privacy matters. Cornelia graduated from the Faculty of Law and has a LL.M in Judicial Career from the University of Bucharest. She is admitted to the Bucharest Bar.

Iulia Cumpăratu joined Wof Theiss as Associate in the Corporate M&A team. Prior to joining Wolf Theiss, Iulia was a legal intern at several local law firms and at many state institutions, she worked in an office of bailiff and participated in different competitions. She was also a volunteer for the Students' Association in Law (ASD). Iulia has graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest and is admitted to the Bucharest Bar. Now she is attending to Master in European Union Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest.

Ramona Enache joined Wolf Theiss as Associate in the Corporate M&A team. Prior to joining Wolf Theiss, Ramona was a legal intern at several local law firms and at many state institutions. Ramona specializes in employment, corporate, M&A and company law matters. She has graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest and is admitted to the Bucharest Bar. Now she is attending to Master in Business Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest.

Cătălin Sabău joined Wolf Theiss as Associate in the Banking & Finance team. Prior to joining Wolf Theiss, Catalin was a legal intern at several local and international law firms. Catalin specializes in banking, finance, and capital markets. His experience also involves assistance on corporate and fintec. He was also Managing Editor of Lawyr.it and a member of ELSA Cluj-Napoca, coordinating the national Legal Research Group. Catalin has graduated from the Babes-Bolyai University, Faculty of Law, Cluj-Napoca in 2019 and is a member of the Bucharest Bar.

Antonia Coman joined Wolf Theiss as Associate in the Disputes team. Prior to joining Wolf Theiss, Antonia worked as a trainee lawyer and was also a legal intern at several local law firms and at many state institutions. She participated in different competitions and was also a volunteer for various projects and associations. Antonia has graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest and is admitted to the Bucharest Bar.
