It is the first time that the capital of Romania has hosted, at the invitation of Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații, the Multilaw EMEA Regional Conference and NextGen Lawyers Summit.

In addition to professional discussions on current topics, the participants had the opportunity to discover the charm, cultural richness, gastronomic variety of Bucharest, as well as the tourist potential of Romania.

The debates on the first day were held around the challenges of the legal profession in the current economic and geo-political context. The panel, moderated by Florentin Țuca, Managing Partner of Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații, benefited from the special intervention of the Minister of Energy, Sebastian Burduja, who encouraged all foreign lawyers present in Bucharest to promote Romania as an investment destination, highlighting some of country’s major projects in the energy field. Also, Mihail Neamțu and Adrian Severin addressed the audience, pointing out the current geopolitical opportunities and risks.

The following days were dedicated to other professional discussions, official and private meetings, as well as visits to some of the most representative local attractions and points of interest.

“We are honored by the presence of Multilaw in Bucharest, especially since this year we celebrated 20 years of activity, as well as 15 years as members of Multilaw. We are glad to welcome such a large number of foreign lawyers to our home city! Romania has a huge potential and we, as lawyers, have the chance to help build bridges of cooperation with colleagues from all over the world in various projects of common interest. We want this to be just the beginning of discovering Romania as a business destination, but also as a tourist destination. In this regard, we have also benefited from the support of the relevant ministry, which we thank”, pointed out Gabriel Zbârcea, Managing Partner of Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații.

Adam Cooke, CEO of Multilaw, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be holding our EMEA Regional Conference in Bucharest and the NextGen Lawyers Summit for the very first time. Our long-standing Romanian member firm, Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații, has played a key role in shaping a dynamic and memorable few days in one of Europe’s most vibrant capitals. The programme features some truly outstanding speakers—ranging from Romanian government figures to legal innovators from across the region—who will help us tackle the big questions facing the legal profession today. We’re also delighted to be welcoming attendees from 33 countries across the globe, a reminder of the diversity and reach that makes Multilaw such a unique law firm network. Thank you, Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații, for the hospitality, support and attention to detail that made a real difference.
