Popovici Nițu Stoica & Asociații has announced the promotion of Alexandru Stan (International Arbitration; Corporate & Commercial) and Răzvan Alexandru Popa (Litigation; Restructuring & Insolvency; Tax) to Managing Associates.
Alexandru Stan joined the Firm in 2013, being involved in international arbitration and commercial disputes ever since. Alexandru has extensive experience in arbitration proceedings in sectors such as construction, energy and commercial. Alexandru is also a member of the Board of YRAP (Young Romanian Arbitration Practitioners), where he acts as Task Force Coordinator, as well as a member of the Europe Sub-Committee of the Campaign for Greener Arbitrations.
Răzvan Alexandru Popa joined the Firm in 2014. His practice concentrates on tax and administrative litigation, with a focus on disputes with the regulatory authorities and those deriving from the implementation of projects financed with EU Funds. He also provides general representation before the courts on various commercial issues and insolvency procedures.
