SAA announces 2022 round of promotions

Stratulat Albulescu has announced the promotion of five lawyers, effective January 1, 2022. Tudor Ciambur and Adriana Dobre was promoted to Partner, Roxana Catea to Counsel, Elena Stan to Managing Associate and Daiana Assoum to Senior Associate. Their new positions are testament to their hard work, significant involvement and contribution in multiple complex projects.

Tudor Ciambur (Real Estate) joined the SAA team in 2019, after having worked for more than 7 years at one of the top law firms in Romania. During his almost 3 years with SAA, Tudor has performed outstandingly and delivered exceptional client-oriented work. Right from the start, Tudor has been involved in numerous complex real estate transactions, taking over the successful coordination of such projects. He assists clients in connection with a wide range of real estate matters, including real estate acquisition and development, the structuring of transactions, lease agreements, due diligence exercises, business takeovers and joint ventures.

Adriana Dobre (Dispute Resolution) has been with the firm since 2020 when she started co-ordinating one of the two Dispute Resolution groups. Due to her analytical skills, her extensive legal experience, and her excellent communication skills, she is highly appreciated by clients for always finding the best legal solutions. Moreover, during her 14+ years of experience, Adriana boasts an impressive success rate of over 90%, with much of her work being complex and high profile.

Roxana Catea (Dispute Resolution) has also been with the Firm since 2020, co-ordinating a second Dispute Resolution group. Her strong written communication skills coupled with her excellent language skills (she speaks no fewer than 4 languages, namely, Romanian, Spanish, French and English) and also with her sharp analytical mind enabled her to focus not only on the end result but on each and every step of the litigation process.

Elena Stan (Intellectual Property, TMT) joined the firm in 2017 and has over 11 years of professional experience in the legal field. She has been fascinated by the dynamic field of IP for many years, having initially been inspired by her inventor father and his numerous patent registrations. Elena regularly provides assistance in areas of practice impacting intellectual property rights, including trademark, IP transactional, design, copyright, trade names and domain names, across various industry sectors such as technology, media, telecommunication, entertainment, gaming, pharmaceutical, fashion, sports & fitness, etc.

Daiana Assoum (Real Estate) joined SAA in 2016, being a long-standing member of our Firm who has always proved her dedication and devotion to the strategy and principles of SAA. An exceptional lawyer, Daiana is an outstanding asset with our foreign clients due to her multicultural origins and her familiarity with many languages including Romanian, English, Spanish, Arabic and French. Moreover, by working with clients from a varied range of activity sectors, Daiana has developed an in-depth knowledge of the Romanian Real Estate market and trends that our clients face in their sector and, as a result, she offers efficient and effective advice to our clients in order to protect their rights.
