Stratulat Albulescu names new Partners for 2021: Cristina Man and Octav Stan in the Corporate and M&A Group

Stratulat Albulescu has announced the promotion to Partner of Cristina Man and Octav Grigore Stan with effect from 1 January 2021. Both Cristina and Octav are part of Corporate/M&A group, one of the firm’s core practice areas.

Cristina is a long-standing member of the Firm who has proved her dedication and devotion to the strategy and principles which drive SAA and has helped strengthen and grow it to its current leading position in the market. A Corporate lawyer by background, Cristina has become specialized in Tech M&A and will continue to have a leading role in the dedicated Group for this specialism within the larger M&A Department. Her work on sophisticated projects has gained her clients recognition – described as a lawyer possessing “tremendous work ethic and knowledge” (Legal 500, 2018 Edition).

With a creative approach and solution-oriented thinking, Cristina advises foreign and domestic clients on a wide range of matters related to the development of their businesses in Romania. Working with market leaders producing some of the most cutting-edge technology in the world, the range of her client base includes multinational tech companies, rapidly expanding international companies, investment funds, start-ups and their founders and tech services users.

Although he joined the firm only this year, Octav has performed outstandingly and delivered exceptional, client-oriented work in the 6 months he has been with SAA. Throughout his career Octav has been involved in many complex transactions, representing a range of parties and has significant experience in share deals, asset deals, corporate reorganisations and joint ventures. With a particular focus on healthcare and energy, he has successfully represented a wide array of corporations, investment banks, private equity firms and entrepreneurs on multiple aspects of their projects.
